ParkerPup's 2013 K9 Cancer Walk / Golden Nuggets

I'm a Portland, Oregon golden who just wants to help find a cure. I'm a professional model and actor. I've been in Vanity Fair Magazine, on the Big Screen in Times Square, I've done many print ads, a commercial, a music video and I've even done live theater. I'm an agility nut, a tennis ball freak. I'm a Pet Partners therapy dog who gets to work with cancer patients. More than anything, I am a beloved member of my family, and a strong advocate for LIFE... and Morris Animal Foundation.

I carry a cancer vest that holds hundreds of names on it (and in it). Names of kids. Names of parents and grandparents. Names of dogs, cats... even a princess who signed her name on it herself. It carries the names of MY family members. Your family members. All these names represent somene or some animal who has battled cancer. Some have fought and lost their battle, some have won. Many people have chosen to help me raise money for many different cancer-fighting organizations, including MAF. It's seen the sunny days and it's seen rainy evenings. It's been lit up. It's been dressed down. It's carried blue butterflies. It attracts attention of many and it allows me to generate awareness.

Last year I made the trip down to Elk Grove for this amazing event. I met a gorgeous golden girl named Dixie. She was so sweet... and YOUNG. And she had cancer. This year, I will be walking in her memory. She didn't make it 2013 to walk with me again. Instead I will carry her name on my vest. And I can't wait to give her mommy some snuggles and loves. That's what we goldens do. 

In April I am walking for my favorite organization: Morris Animal Foundation. I will be traveling back down to Elk Grove, CA where I will carry even more names. I need your help. I want to make a big impact this year. And I can only do that with your support.
