On Tuesday November 27, 2012, Morris Animal Foundation will join thousands of retailers, charities, online organizations, community centers, individuals, families and more as they come together to create #GivingTuesday. This inaugural, one-day event encourages people to give back to their communities through volunteerism, donations and advocacy.

In a time when consumer driven events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become nearly synonymous with the holiday season, this brand-new national moment is instead dedicated to a simple, yet powerful concept that we are all very familiar with: giving.

Giving Back to Our Best Friends

#GivingTuesday isn’t just about people. After all, humans aren't the only ones who know how to give. Our animal friends give us their love and friendship every day, so why not give some back? By donating to us, you will help support science that is advancing veterinary care for animals.

Better Together

The holidays are always better with friends. As part of this special event, Morris Animal Foundation has joined with Petplan, the leading pet insurance provider and choice for rescues, shelters and humane societies.

To celebrate both #GivingTuesday and their two-year partnership with the Foundation, Petplan will be matching every $1 donated (up to $1000) on #GivingTuesday.
